Poll men are nervous as the final bomb is to explode(100 hurray!)

The Opinion Poll has crossed 75 Mark yesterday.Congrats for the team and those that helped this integration.
We are now in the process of evolving a methodology for executing the scheme of events that will precede the convergence into the convention.

9Th July and after.
Briefly what we had decided at today's meeting1> NCCS Theme : Generation Next CMP (unanimously agreed by Avinash, Nikhil, Jwalapathi, Krishna and Raghu (from Bombay on chat)2> Basic format and contents of the two stage contest unanimsly agreed
3> Roles: Avinash and Nikhil to organize the meetings of the Team as and when necessaryBoth will primarily take the job of publicising the event and enrol students for the event.
4>Content:Selection StageFor the webbased quiz, questions for Stage- 1 to 4 wd be collected by 31st July by the followingNikkhil - Stage 1&2 - 60 qns each stageAvinash - Stage 3 Jwalapathi - Stage 4Krishnan has given them the access to elearning pages contaning all the subject Study NotesI have collected about 60 qns for GBQ. I need to add another 60. I will get them collected by the resource persons we have - Kiran, Karthik and Siva - in the next 15 days.I d also get the visuals collected simultaneously.For the Financial Analysis and Presentation

As per the trend inth eTop 3 Opinion Poll Analysis and interpretaion of Finacial and non financial data is emerging a leader.Udaya Shanker had suggested that this may be made a part of the contest at the Selection Stage.What This wd entail is we furnish a set of financials to the students and ask them to compute a few ratios and INTERPRET them.Since we have Finacial Ratios in the syllabus of ICWAI it is within the range of the sstudents.What we have to do perhaps is get two 3 years data and ask them to nalyse and interpret them.It is in this that I thot I wd take your and Udaya Shanker's help.
For the Theme Presentation, we have nothing to do except set the criteria for presenatation and the no. of slidesallowed.
Jwalapthi will draw the framework for the two ppts to be made by the students.
All these to be completed by not later 31st July.The evaluation criteria for the PPTs to be determined. This we will do thru mail based discussion. Krishnan would then find a panel of faculty to rate the PPTsThe details on format and content for DirectLIve Contest would be discussed at the next meeting. Also the budget estimate for the entire program.
The blog (http://teamnccs.blogspot.com) and elearning portal (http://www.eicwai.in) to be popularized by Nikhil and Avinash amongst the students.I d work with Hari now onward to bring in as much automation as possible into the program. we have agreed one of the take away from this event for the students should be an enhanced awareness of how technology can work for a CMP.-- Thanx and regards,
